Notarial Fees

Notarise one to four documents: £110
Each additional document up to a total of ten documents: £15
Handling of documents to be legalised by an Embassy: £50
Authentication of Educational Certificates (per certificate): £12
Travel costs: £25 per 30 minutes

Foreign & Commonwealth Office Legalisation Fees (the Apostille)

Standard service (per document): £30
Premium service (per document): £75

Documents that require legalisation will also incur postage fees. The documents will be sent to and from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office by recorded delivery post. If you would like them to be sent directly out to the receiving country by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office additional postage fees will be as follows:

UK £5.50 per 1.5kg
Europe (not including Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Liechtenstein, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine) £14.50 per 1.5kg
Rest of the world £25.00 per 1.5kg

Some matters will fall outside the price chart set out above and a quote will be provided to you once full instructions are received. If Embassy consular legalisation is required, an agent will often be used to ensure the safe passage of the document(s) between the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and the Embassy; they are also able to courier the documents out to the destination country.

In all cases a full fee quote will be provided for approval before any costs are incurred.
